I have enough experience at writing (and life) that I can deal with most things with an even hand. I think about what I'm writing, and I try not to push toward the emotional edges. It takes a few hours to put a piece together, and it often sits overnight, so I have time to calmly evaluate. Thankfully, publishing on the internet allows me to change a story if necessary, but I rarely have to make major changes.
Mood affects me more as it relates to whether I can concentrate on good ideas and produce the work. Some days I can't push anything out. Other days it just pours out of me.
