What are your thoughts on the untimely death of Whitney Houston?

What are your sincere thoughts regarding Whitney Houston's untimely death?
I used her music so many times in training my students for competitions. I have sung her songs so many times on stage. Though her music will go on forever, I am sadden at the fact that her health was not as important to her as her music. Whatever challenges she had to face, it must have been so hard for her. It takes great strength and great support to endure what this talented woman had to endure. God bless her and her family. RIP Whitney. You will always be remembered.

The world has lost an amazing entertainer and icon!
She was so incredibly gifted and left us far too young. This is such a shame.
My deepest sympathy to her family and especially her daughter.
Whitney . . .May you rest in peace.

Drugs just took another innocent life.  I love Whitney's songs.  It's sad to see her exit this world so early.  I hope this will serve as another warming for the people who attempt to do drugs.

Addiction is such a terrible, tragic thing, and it has claimed another life. So sad for her family, and sad for her that she was unable to kick her addiction before it killed her. We are about the same age, and I feel as though I grew up with her. I remember seeing her modeling in my Seventeen Magazine back when we were both just teenagers. The Seventeed article mentioned that she was a singer, and when I finally heard her sing I was blown away. It was exciting watching her rise to stardom; I felt like I "knew her way back when." The world has lost a talented, beautiful lady. Such a tragedy.

We don't know if it was drugs but obviously her abuse contributed to her health and well-being declining. I feel sorry for her mother and daughter. Losing a child before you pass has to hurt you beyond reproach but losing your mother, regardless of age is always hard. It's even harder when you are still young and finding your way. I hope that we won't continue to gossip and speculate about her demise but we need to continue to remember the amazing talent she gave us in her all to brief time.

She will be missed, because of her voice.  Houston had an absolutely perfect tone, vibrato and an incredible range. Her voice was one of the most imitated styles of any singer.

Drugs and alcohol don't care who you are or what degree of talent you have. they take far to many lives.

She was amazing and it breaks my heart to know that she is gone. My sympathy goes out to her family and to her daughter.

A beautiful, multi-talented lady who brought so much to us all.

I was not a fan of her music but recognize her immense talent. I think it is terribly sad when someone dies so young and has so much to offer society.  It is a great loss for her family, fans and the industry.

I thought she had one of the most incredible voices I have ever heard. I loved to hear her sing. It is a terrible tragedy. She had God given beauty and talent and threw it all away. I feel for her friends and family, it is a great loss.
