What are your top 3 favorite movies?

If I had to pick three these would be it for me: Braveheart, Moulin Rogue, and Wall-E (had to throw a family one in there smile )

There are so many. My most recent favourite is 'Machine Gun Preacher', then the first two that come to mind after that are 'American History X' and 'Save the Last Dance'

...But there are so many more! It really depends on my mood at the time; some days I can be in the mood for 'Mary Poppins' or the 'Sound of Music'; which are both two amazing films for their time.

Then I can have those 'Bridget Jones' / 'Notting Hill' type days.

Then there's the 'Eden Lake' (the most horrific horror I've ever come across!) / 'Exorcist' mood.

Then there's the 'Matrix' / 'Bourne' / 'Taken' mood.

Or the 'There's Something About Mary' / 'Just Go With It' mood.

Then there's the 'Pay It Forward' / 'Titanic' mood...

Sorry, I'll stop now--- I'm gettin' carried away, I just think that there's atleast one perfect film for every mood...

Oooooo......that's a hard one.  Let me think........probably Pride and Prejudice, Oklahoma, and Love Comes Softly.  It doesn't matter how many times I have watched these already, I am always ready to watch them again!

    2. Young Frankenstein
    3. Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian

Of course these kinds of lists are always tricky, and frustrating - there's too many films I like in very different ways and very different types of films, etc - but, if I have to set my analytical-self aside (and that's not at all easy for me) and just spit-out an answer of what 3 films first come to my mind as favorites I would have to say . . .

    3. 'Brazil'
    2. 'The 7th Voyage Of Sinbad'
    1. 'A Tale Of Two Cities' (1935 Ronald Colman version) . . . greatest movie ever made.

. . . yet, I must acknowledge how absurd it is that 'Rebecca', 'Taxi Driver', 'Talk Of The Town', 'The Hidden Fortress', 'The Horror Of Dracula', 'Random Harvest', 'The Day The Earth Stood Still', 'Catch 22', 'Lucky Partners', 'The Ghost And Mrs.Muir', 'You Can't Take It With You', 'Mysterious Island', 'Here Comes Mr.Jordan', etc, etc, etc, are not on my list.

Oh I am a total film buff so this is really hard to chose just 3! We actualy had all our wedding tables names after a film! Our top table was in pursuit of happyness! Adore that film. Then 9 to 5, sister act, thomas crown affair, first wives club, mary poppins, sound of music, what lies beneath, and a whole array of other films! Dont htink i could ever chose just 3
