   Oh, I think Charles Dickens, first of all.  There's an underlying humour and a vast understanding of people in his work and I love his way with words.
   
   Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.  I'd let him choose the music.  I'd let him know how very much his Requiem Mass moves me; how much his music has meant and how it lives on.
   
   Vincent Van Gogh.  I'd really like to talk to him.  I love his artwork and I'd love to tell him how successful it was for later generations and let him know that he was appreciated after all, though unfortunately he didn't experience this appreciation in his lifetime.  I'd like to try to make up for that.

   Mark Twain, Albert Einstein, and Aristotle. If you have a choice to converse with anyone living or dead then you may as well make it an enlightening and entertaining discussion.
   
   Twain for his wit.
   
   Einstein for his brains.
   
   And Aristotle for his philosophy.
   
   Also, I think all three would have some very interesting comments about the state of the world today.

   Jesus -- Without Him I would be totally lost! He keeps me grounded and living a life with Christian values. I would like to have Him teach me more. I want to Thank Him in person for giving His life for me.
   
   Morrie Schwartz-- His attitude about life and death were extraordinary and he would have so much to teach me. He was a wonderful man and one of the greatest thinkers and teachers of this period in time.
   
   The Apostle Paul-- His epistles were all so valuable to learn by as a Christian. They were also very valuable to the founding of the Church and its practices. I would love to discuss them with him. And to discuss his strong faith even during such trials as his imprisonment.

   Hitler while he was a crazed mad man, he has definitely had a huge impact on the modern world. Besides you just have to ask...WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!???
   
   Mark Twain very inteligent and has a great sense of humor.  I'm from the south and I grew up on the Mississippi River.
   
   Bill Clinton, I think may very well be the sharpest politician since FDR. Never cared much for his politics. He's extremely intelligent and charismatic. His intelligence, I believe is something that is missed, overlooked or over shadowed a lot. Besides there is absolutely no doubt that this is a guy who knows how to have a good time!

    I would hope the three people I would sit with would be:
    1. Jesus
    2.Mary Magdeline(Jesus' best friend though humanly deemed a whore)
    3. My birth mother
    
    1a. I love Jesus and He's really all that matters. If I went through this whole life time looking forward to see Him---no matter what ordeals, bad deals and the unhealed I've seen---and find Him not there I would rather go to Hell(because there wouldn't be one.
    2a.Mary Magdeline was the first person Jesus revealed Him self to after His crucifixion. I figure I've done my share of sinning  so her past didn't matter to Him.  He loved her devotion and seeking Him out whenever she could.  She washed His feet with perfumes, her tears and her hair the night prior to His being taken away. Let's not forget that God created woman because a man being alone was the first thing God deemed NOT good so I'm under the discernment that there was a woman perfectly matched to honor Jesus appropriately. Long story short---I would ask what they spoke of the moment she realized He lived..
    3a. I would want my birth mother to be there and just explain to Jesus(whom I talk frequently with) what her reasoning was to leave me to ineptly fend for myself when I was six.
    
    This all said I just hope there's a never-ending stream of joylovepeacehealingunity......TToni9/Pauline

    Great question.  That's also a hard one. It would have to be Erica Spindler, my favorite thriller author, because she's my idol, since I'm an aspiring author, too.  Julia Roberts is another, because she's my favorite all-time actress. I did a book report on her, long time ago in school. And the third would have to be Shania Twain, my favorite country singer. I went to see her in concert in Cleveland, a decade ago.

    Top on my list is Christine Legarde. She's powerful, incisive, and with a first class intellect. My second would be Thomas Friedman, to listen to his views on the whole political process in the US and how it relates to the economy, economic fairness and equity. Third would be Epicure, to find out his notion of the commonality of all life based upon atoms and that what we have is now and that there is no post mortem judgment. When it's over, it's over. I am interested how he and his friends developed this thinking.

    Jesus Christ - For my spiritual health.  I believe he would be candid about my spiritual condition and direct me on whether my choices are truly the correct path. 
    
    Edgar Allan Poe - For mental health.  Seems strange, but the man went through hell and still produced brilliant stories until his mysterious death. If getting estranged from your father, losing all your wealth, and the death of your loved ones doesn't kill your muse, your mind's ironclad in my book. 
    
    Stephen King - For financial.  The man's writing is not only respected by the literary community, but he's also affluent from it.

    Christ/Jesus..........not sure if this counts because he is/was/will be.  I want someone to look into my soul and tell me my path, journey, and answer the riddles in my life for clarity to guide me while I'm on this side of life.
    
    Cleopatra.......to live so long and be so cleaver as a woman to reinvent yourself several times gaining the allegiance of men (although she was not the most remarkable woman) shows an extreme amount of intelligence in some way/form.
    
    Randy Paush.......to speak to him about the balance of realizing career but what is most important in life. I would love to discuss his take on how to balance desire to achieve with being an easy going and appreciative of the small things in life.

    1. Steve Vai because he is my favourite artist and guitar player. It would be an honour to chat with him over dinner. A priceless bonus if he could share with me his musical vision. And say, if he then decided to give me any one of his guitar from his gigantic collection, that would be a fantastic dessert after dinner!
    
    2. Steve Jobs because he is such an amazing individual and entrepreneur. I am still fascinated in his business strategies. How he have achieved to create his brand (Apple) and made a phenomenal business success in this planet. I can imagine what that dinner experience would be like.
    
    3. Kevin J Anderson because he is my favourite author. I admire his literature and relate well to his work. I am a fan of his novels; the Saga of the Seven Suns and Terra Incognita series. It would be a blast talking to him and have his advice on writing.

    Jesus, my Dad - who passed away in 2010, and my grandfather, Paul Orr, who passed away in 1972.  Thinking about this question reminded me of memorable meals I have enjoyed with friends and family in the past.  I recall some meals where there was a lot of laughter, where the people at the table told their best stories, one story after another.
