What are some children's movies that don't have scary characters/scenes?

My kids are terrified of the "bad guys" in the most popular movies. We are looking for alternatives.

Thank you for the good suggestions. I had forgotten about the animal movies. I will have to check out some of the older movies also.

LOL I was only 4 when JP came out; my mom took me & my sister to see it in theaters! She had no idea... she covered my eyes during the velociraptor attack early in the movie, and I tried as hard as I could to pry her hands off my face to see!!

Thank you for taking the time to write me a list. Feel free to send more my way if you think of them. I like your taste! Well, except Toy Story - the kids really didn't like the creepy neighbor kid.

Hi twoseven, thanks for commenting. My kids also liked Cars (not the 2nd one, though). Thank you for reminding me about the Muppets. I also haven't seen Happy Feet.

Sounds like you really know what you're talking about. My kids love Cars and Curious George but Cars 2 really scared them. Rookie of the Year sounds interesting. Thanks!
