    Like rain:
Your faith seems such a perfect thing
Oh, faith seems such a perfect thing.
Till all those doubts come creeping in
How all those doubts come creeping in.

    Like rain.
The water rises up the walls
The crumbling plaster starts to fall
The timber of the window frame
Keeps in and soaks up all that rain.

    And suddenly,
    You're standing there,
    With nothing around you.

    Alone, exposed, afraid of life

    Ooooh...

    Onwards onwards:
    Onwards, onwards, never stopping
The years roll by like the buildings and trees

When one day you sit up
    And you look,
Question all the turnings you took.
Well then you realise you're not, in control,
The feeling wells up to plunge off the road.

    Oooh...

    Please, please help me
    Have faith in our cause
The fact is, we've driven through
    Oh, so much worse.

And I can't blame you for
    My lack of strength.
But I can't see how we might
    Make amends.

And what the hell have I done?
Oh, what the hell haven't I done?

    Oooh...

    The Howling:

When. She howls and grips my bones to shaking.
Cold. She holds my legs to cease the moving.
Lying by the road I chose to take,
I turn my head to see the choice I made.

Save the show again, for me, I've lost the touch.
And I'm still stunned that you believed in me so much.
Just tell me when we're there, I'll close my eyes.
And come what made the place it wont suprise me.

    You'll see.
    You'll see.

Walls, they call to me, a tale to tell.
Of who was here before, and how they fell.
Is there a world without the love of you?
Don't let me be alone I beg of you.
    I sing please.
    I sing please.

What i got from it was a person who is struggling in a relationship, now whether or not they could be talking about a relationship with a spouse or god is up for the interpertation of the reader but thats what makes this so appliable to the reader
