Horror movies have never freaked me out; in fact, I find them comical, if not downright ridiculous. Movies about axe murderers are more likely to freak me out, so I don't watch them.
It's strange - when I was a little kid, I saw a movie in a theater. I can't remember whether it was "Fantastic Voyage" or "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea". But there was this one scene where some people left their capsule and swam around in liquid, and a bunch of green plants came after them. They swam back to their capsule as fast as they could, but one woman was caught by them; they stuck all over her. The others climbed in and pulled her into the capsule, and she kept saying, "I can't breathe! I can't breathe!" while they pulled the plants off her. She was finally able to breathe when they got them all off.
I wonder if that could be why I have botanophobia (fear of plants).
