Where do you get your daily news?

I visit BBC and (Australia's) ABC websites...

Slate I hear is popular; I go to HuffPo on occasion but (as per Conan O'Brien's slamming of them in his Presidential address) sometimes their stories are not great... Perhaps I should use Reuters too actually.

Yes I have found comparing news services to be eye-opening, perhaps along with Reuters I could be checking out AlJazeera and, as CJ Kelly mentioned above, the Times in London.. Guardian sounds like a good resource as well..

Yeah so long as BBC is doing its thing the state of future journalism feels like it is in a better place aiming for good solid news rather than entertainment... Guess I'll check out slate and see what the fuss is about! ;)

Haha thanks for your thoughts- though there are local publications I might see on the train for example or elsewhere, I had actually more or less forgotten about print media as a source of news ;)

That's interesting to know, especially where to get updates on things with an environmental focus.. I did used to use Twitter for news too and lost that when leaving (but had been hearing from sites I now visit directly)..

Yahoo eh, I guess they cover the main stories of the day along with some entertainment hey... (and perhaps a place for email and other things?)..
