Now that the Oscars have become political, isn't it time to put it to rest?


The Oscars should be an internal celebration and not open to the public. The nominees and the winners are picked within the industry, and not from the audience. So, if you want the Oscar for the grandiose production than take out the movies and make it a fashion show. Diversity is not a criteria of an award, performance is the process to warrant an award. The problem of who is picked and who wins an Oscars was never really based on any objective criteria. But now fresh on the powerful Diversity stick called PC the minorities Demand and attack to get their way. Oscars are the latest casualty

    Because now it has become political, and yet another distraction to the presidential campaign. We are already over a year into the presidential campaign and we are still not talking real issues.

    More reasons why the Oscars shouldn't be important to us.

    Many of our talented and popular actors, and actresses didn't get an Oscar.

    So true everything now is part of politics, but in reality they should be social issues,
