I only ask because doing a study on the disease recently I came across statements more than once that he has the disease and possibly this is why his mother, the Queen has not handed the reigns to him? She is almost 90 isn't she, doesn't she think it is about time to let someone else step in? Does anyone have any information about this? Maybe someone from that area? (image-zimbio.com)

Glad to know that. Then the Queen will not step down if she lives to be 100?
Maybe the Queen staying good health and Chales getting Alzheimer is the gods' way of protecting the people of UK, this way, the Queen got no choice but to skip Chales and pass the crown to William. Just a superstitious thought :)
Peter565 - LOL! I admit, I never really liked Prince Charles.
Charles is an idiot/snob who would be a homeless man starving to death, if he wasn't born in the royal family
Is it even possible to pass it over Charles onto William? I am sure the world would prefer that. Camilla I think took any idea of king from Charles in the world's eye. Ah, how different it could have been.
Yes, sometimes rumors do start at a bit of truth. I wondered.
You do have to question though why he did all he did with Diana, putting a bad face on the Queen also. Why did he lead a young girl on he did not love and who in their right mind would pick Camilla over Diana who so obviously adored Charles to begin?
Charles had no choice over marrying Diana. She was picked for him. Camilla is nearer his age. The monarch has the right to prevent any marriage of near relatives to the throne. Princess Margaret's marriage to Group Captain Peter Townsend was forbidde
Still, too bad he couldn't have loved her half as much as the world did.
Can that happen without his permission?
Well UK is now rule by law and constitution, not by tradition, so, if the law change, it can be done and if the King have Alzheimer he can't perform his duties, it is a justifiable excuse to skip Charles as King, without embarassing him
