What is your assessment of Fox News? Do you believe that Fox News is a viable news network?
Is Fox News as conservative as it is purported to be?
It has moved left to the middle over the past several years. But it is one of the few outlets not engaging in censorship.

BBC Scrubs ‘Ali’ From Munich Killer’s Name On TV, In Articles, AND On Social Media
http://www.breitbart.com/london/2016/07 … r-article/
The BBC has unilaterally chosen not to report the Munich attacker’s full name, in what appears to be an attempt to scrub any Muslim or Islamic heritage link to its coverage of the incident. Ali D'Aud Sonbol Sonboly – the Munich attacker who targeted children and killed nine gets scrubbed of any reference to his Muslim heritage, hiding Ali as his first name, renaming to "David" as the middle name, not mentioning that he arrived from Iran within past few years (Muslim immigrant).

Cable News is a misnomer, as it doesn't report the news, it reports what they want the news to show. It is spinion, and it employs the pundits on demand.
If you have to rely on these pundits then you probably can't understand raw news.. You will start parroting the words of the pundits as your own opinion. Basically, because you threw away your own opinion, as these pundits must be infinitely smarter than you.
Actually I think MSNBC is the worst. But all major news outlets are more commentary than news these days, they're biased, they have to please an audience & advertisers. Journalistic integrity is becoming extinct, objectivity is out of fashion.

In its lawsuit against Fox News, Dominion Voting Systems (DVS) included very damaging text message excerpts from the top of the organization that seem to clearly show Fox was more concerned with ratings than the truth of their reporting and presentations. Here is what Google offers for details: Fox...

I'm always amazed at how many people don't understand Fox News. It has a successful business strategy of appealing to people's conservative biases, which is why a majority of viewers are conservative Republicans.Fox is not a news channel that seeks the truth. It provides reporting and commentary...
