Adele's 25 won Album of the year over Beyoncé's Lemonade, at the Grammys. Was it because of her politics, her anti-police antics, and her race? Do we lack the proper education to appreciate diverse music and thought, is this just another example of the greater failures in our society...? Bey winning this would have helped unite us as Americans, instead by denying her the award we are more divided today than we were yesterday. Its not about perceptions of talent, about what album sold more or had more hits, isn't it about doing what is right?

Someone knows their music awards!
Do you think it is because she has taken such a strong... almost anti-law, even anti-white stance that she was overlooked, because of the politics in her lyrics and her actions? Has this occurred in the past with other Musicians?
Adele sold better and has broader appeal, and thus is judged as better. The lyrics aren't the issue given that black rappers singing about rape and killing cops have won.
