1st, deeply listen to his lyrics.-it's average material.
2nd, listen to his radio-played music arrangements then compare them to uptempo/mid-tempo R&B tunes.-they're virtually identical.
3rd, add in his goofy look.
and you get mixed sentiments.
Some people like him because (in truth) he does sing well and his brand of music is their taste.
Some people don't give him a real thought (like me) because he sounds like a carbon copy version of a Backstreet Boy gone R&B.
Some people dislike him just because they're negative critics.
And some people dislike him because the critics dislike them.
