If you had to pick a different time to live in, what would it be? And why?
I'd choose to exist the exact moment the earth was created. I don't even car how it was created. As soon as life was sustained, I want to be there, so I can etch my name on a mountain side. "The Jiggins was here, 01/01/00"
I'd consider jumping into the future ( the year 3000).
Most people are likely to want go backwards in time because they are pesimistic about the future.
However history has taught us the future generally brings more good than bad overall. There is progress made with every generation.
We're living longer, finding better medicines, creating inventions which no one dreamed were possible just 100 years ago.
By the year 3000 we may be traveling back and forth to other planets, living in peace, and possibly evolved to using a higher percentage of our minds.
The past may have been a blast but the unknown is where it's at! A positive person always looks forward!
I want to jump into the future maybe 100 years from now. I want to see the innovation of technology at that time.
I would have to do some "time shopping". The only time I have personal experience with in the past, that I would like to revisit, is the late 1960s. As to the future, who knows. A time machine where you could check out various eras would be the way to go. Be a "time tourist" visting many times, and pick the time you then find best in your personal experience. Just like you would pick a state or country to live in, if you were able to evaluate many first, then pick.
I would definitely stay in the Present, because it is actually not that bad if you compare to Middle ages with all the deseases and wars, as well as WWI&II and other time periods.... BUT...I would love to just check it out. To go back to 50s, 60s and 70s for example. I would love to see Beatles, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Ray Charles. etc live. Also would want to visit Medieval Europe with all the crazy outfits they had.
But I would live in NOW, thats for sure.

Believers, how do you KNOW there is life after death?I am always interested, and quite envious, about people who are completely convinced of an afterlife. People who believe in the afterlife, do you feel that you KNOW there is life after death and if so how can you be so sure?

I would ask him, how are you coping with the pressures of the society below?

Why do most people, whilst they acknowledge God's existence fail to live for him?The devil has done everything he can to make people think that he doesn’t exist and yet most people live for him. Most people, though they believe in God don’t live for him. Why is that?

Why is it men don't pick up on subtle hints from women? They do, but they ignore them? They don't really listen? They don't care? Or women really have to be straight forward at the risk of injuring some of men's feelings, which usually women are trying to avoid by giving the subtle hints?

Do you exist or do you live?
