While I loved The Social Network, particularly Jesse Eisenburg, I think JT stole the show with that one, but not to Oscar worthy potential. I was set to back Javier Bardem in 'Buitful' despite thinking that he deserved an Oscar sooner than now....but I saw 'The King's Speech' yesterday and I was ASTOUNDED with Colin Firth. Truly increbile, especially since I am really not the greatest Firth fan. The portrayal was marvelous, a true step out of bounds and how he managed to act the stammer is beyond me.
Well worth seeing, I highly recommend it, and I think the Academy will too.
