Apollo 18 Soundtrack

Updated on January 13, 2013

Music and Songs From Apollo 18 Movie

As mysterious as missing NASA footage is the lack of an official Apollo 18 Soundtrack. With a lower budget in comparison to the Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon, Gary Sinise homage to space, it's unlikely we'll hear a score from James Horner.

This supernatural horror sci-fi film flirts with the possibility that it uses actual, authentic documentary source material and as such is being dubbed the "Blair Space Project" as well as "Paranormal Activity On the Moon."

Hot off the heels of another recent horror thriller filmed in Lotusland, Apollo 18 follows up Final Destination 5 at the box office. Perhaps Vancouver's abundant rainfall is an ideal overcast location for creating a natural, spooky feel when it comes to producing supernatural movies.

After multiple false starts with rolling release dates, Apollo 18 settled in on an end of summer, September 2nd, 2011 release date.

Music About Apollo 18 - Not The Official Apollo 18 Soundtrack

In lieu of an official Soundtrack for Apollo 18, here's what I found instead.

No Apollo 18 Soundtrack Available - James Horner Music From Apollo 13

Apollo 13: Music From The Motion Picture
Apollo 13: Music From The Motion Picture

No word on whether a soundtrack will be made available for the movie Apollo 18. In the meantime, enjoy the James Horner score from Apollo 13.
