The White Album

#9? #9? If you've listened to this album, you know what I'm talking about.

Abbey Road
Abbey Road

The best Beatles album of all is perhaps, Abbey Road. It's also the last album that they recorded together, though Let it Be was released AFTER Abbey Road. The album has near equal contributions from every band member, with some great songs by George Harrison and Ringo Starr, including Octopuses' Garden and Something.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

This is the turning point for The Beatles at which they became decidedly much more psychedelic, less poppy, and more groundbreaking with their music. Tracks like "Strawberry Fields Forever," and "Sgt. Pepper" are testaments to this.

Just a great all-around album, Revolver has some of The Beatles best songs from their middle career, like Taxman, Elanor Rigby, and Good Day Sunshine.

Magical Mystery Tour
Magical Mystery Tour

At their height of their psychedelic infatuation, The Beatles released Magical Mystery Tour, which left the unanswered question, who is "the walrus?

      3 of 5 both times -- I guess that's 6 of 10 or 60% -- not great, but not horrid.
