Looking for good girly films?
As someone who is a massive fan of girly movies (especially romantic comedies!), I know how difficult it can be to find good reviews on films when trying to decide which new girly films to buy.
I have compiled a list of the best girly films of the last 15 years - I have watched them all, so these are my own personal reviews on them.

13 Going On 30
Rating: 12
When Jenna Rink makes a wish on her 13th birthday, she wishes that she could be "30, flirty and thriving". With the help of some wish dust, her wish comes true!
But things seventeen years on are much different than she anticipated, especially when she finds that she has been making decisions which aren't exactly the best...
Starring Jenna Garner, Mark Ruffalo and Judy Greer.
Legally Blonde
Rating: 12
Possibly one of my favourite EVER girly films, this hilarious film is about Elle Woods, a glamourous blonde, who enrolls at Havard Law School in an attempt to impress the guy she loves.
But when she arrives there, things don't turn out exactly as she planned.

Legally Blonde 2 - Red, White and Blonde
Rating: PG
If you watched and liked Legally Blonde, then you will lurrve Legally Blonde 2! Thank goodness they made a second one, because I seriously don't think just one would be enough for me!
Elle Woods returns in all her glamour and "pink-ness", but this time she has to locate the mother of her pet chihuahua. When she finds her in a science lab being used for experiences, she soon sets out on a mission to put an end to the cruelty.

Save the Last Dance

Sara Johnson dreams of being a professional ballet dancer until her mother is killed in a road accident and she is forced to move miles away to live with her father in his ghetto apartment on the south side of Chicago.
In a predominently African-American neighbourhood, Sara struggles to fit it until she meets Derek and his sister. Derek befriends Sara and teaches her how to dance hip-hop. With their mutual interest in dance, their friendship soon becomes more and leads to a passionate romance.
However, this sparks problems between Sara's family and Derek's family and friends.

Bridget Jones' Diary

Any of the Bridget Jones' Diary films are perfect for those romantic comedy-loving women out there! Follow Bridget Jones, the woman in her thirties who many women of today can easily relate to
She works as a book publisher in London, flirting with her wealthy boss, Daniel Cleaver. She meets Mark Darcy, a family friend and barrister, but things get tricky as she discovers more about them both.
Starring Renee Zellweger, Hugh Grant and Colin Firth.
10 Things I Hate About You
Rating: 12
Mainly aimed at teenagers, Julia Stiles stars in this 1999 romantic comedy. Set in a modern high school, Bianca and Kat's father has a rule: Bianca can't date anyone until Kat does.
The only problem is - Kat has absolutely no intention whatsoever of dating anytime soon.
With the help of new boy Cameron, can Bianca come up with a plan to get Kat going out on a date?

Just My Luck

Just My Luck is a hilarious romantic comedy about a woman who has extremely good luck. When she kisses a man at a party, he gets all the good luck and she gets all his bad luck!
When she finds out that she has lost her good luck due to a simple kiss, she sets out with her friends to find the man who stole her good luck, and even worse, gave her so much bad luck.
Will she find the man who has her luck, and will she ever be able to get it back?

Will the letters help Holly break away from what happened and continue on with her life, or will they just keep her tied to the past?

However, she soon realises the importance when she sees how many lives are at stake, especially once she starts making friends with the other contestants.
Will she be able to carry on long enough to catch the criminal before it's too late?

She misses her opportunity that night, but vows to track him down and find him somehow. With her friend Courtney for support, they both set out to find Christina's Mr. Right, but will things work out as they planned?

Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen

When Lola moves from New York to New Jersey, she finds that life doesn't just revolve around her. When she settles into her new school, she finds herself making friends with the unpopular Ella, who actually has some things in common with her.
They discover that they are both massive fans of the band Sidarthur, and soon plan to somehow get to New York to attend one of Sidarthur's sold-out concerts.
Will things work out for them? Will they be able to make their dreams come true in the end?
