Bon Jovi's Music is Still Awesome
Bon Jovi's Music is Timeless
The first time I heard rock 'n roll magic via Jon, Richie Sambora, David Bryan, and Tico Torres, better known as Bon Jovi, I was about six or seven years old. Nearly thirty years later, I still can't resist singing along every time I hear, "You give Love a Bad Name." I have played my Slippery When Wet CD so often that my nine-year-old daughter can sing along to just about any song on the album, even though it was created two decades before she was born.
Why Bon Jovi's Slippery When Wet is Iconic
Slippery when Wet is Bon Jovi's third album. It is memorable by so many people who grew up in the 80s because it was the first time people started to notice just how good this rock 'n roll band is. Are you wondering where the title came from? I would like to tell you to get your mind out of the gutter; however, the band admits they came up with the name after visiting a strip club in Vancouver.
Bon Jovi's Most Popular Songs are on this Album
I have many Bon Jovi CDs, but this one will always be my favorite. Not only does it include the best Bon Jovi song every made "You give Love a Bad Name," but it also includes "Livin' on a Prayer," "Wanted: Dead or Alive," and "Never Say Goodbye." If you think I'm alone in my love for Bon Jovi, you would be wrong. According to Wikipedia, Slippery When Wet has sold more than 28 million records since being released in 1987 and is considered to be Bon Jovi's best album to date. In fact, this iconic album is included in the infamous book, 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before you Die.
Relive the 80s, or get another copy of Slippery When Wet to make sure you can always rock out to your favorite Bon Jovi songs whenever you want!
