Booky and the Secret Santa Movie Review
Who is Booky?
I just had the privilege of meeting Booky for the first time when I discovered the movie Booky and the Secret Santa and I was impressed with both Booky AND the movie.
Why?
Well, start with good wholesome family movie fare. Think along the lines of the Anne of Green Gables series of television movies and you will have the feel that this movie evokes...
Throw in Megan Follows (who was Anne of Green Gables) as Booky's Mom. It is so nice to see Megan Follows again.
Next, make Booky's dad a harness builder for Canada's iconic T. Eaton company of the 1930s.
Finally, throw in the Toronto Santa Claus Parade and you have all the makings of a good, nostalgic movie, at least for me.
On this page, learn more about Booky and the Secret Santa and Booky's other movies and the books that inspired the films...

Of course after we enjoyed Booky and the Secret Santa so much, we were delighted to discover that there is another film that features Booky called Booky's Crush. It is another sweet, family friendly movie and, as the title indicates, Booky experiences her first crush on a boy in this movie.
