Alternative Folk Country Music
Brother & I plays front porch Americana style music with strong folk and country influences. The duet features the talented Ilex McGill, as lead vocalist and rhythm guitar, and her brother Josh McGill, as lead guitar and back up vocals. The pair grew up in sunny South Florida in the little beach town of Lake Worth. They are now based out of Gainesville, Florida. The two preform a range of covers and original music from folk to modern pop. They have been playing together since they were old enough to pick up instruments, and now share their gift at a variety of bars, venues, and private events.
