Checking off items on your bug out bag checklist is one of the first steps in prepping for disaster. While the BOB has been made popular by the show "Doomsday Preppers," people have been preparing for various disasters since the beginning of mankind. Diehard preppers will live and breathe this list in their sleep; amateur preppers should at least have a bag ready just in case.

      My bug out bag will contain the most recent issue of Hustler, a Bible and some canned beans in case I get hungry.

      We store a lot of survival supplies in the RV and also keep plenty of cat food on hand in case of emergency.
