Burt Reynolds and Friends Museum
The Burt Reynolds and Friends Museum in Jupiter,Florida is a fun way to spend an afternoon. If you are looking for a walk down memory lane this museum will provide you with lots of memorabilia from the entertainment industry. Burt is said to be something of a "pack rat" and over the years he has collected tons of autographed photos, personalized notes and items from his movies.
As my husband and I entered the museum we were met by the friendly volunteers who were anxious to answer any questions we had about Burt and his museum. They gave us an overview of the museum, told us we were free to take all the photos we wanted, and made sure we knew to ask them any questions.
We were also greeted by the life size cutout of Burt that you see here. We then started our tour around the rooms, where the walls were full of photos and posters. We saw a chair made of hockey sticks from his movie Mystery Alaska, a red horse carriage built for Burt by Dolly Parton, and a guitar that belonged to Bobby Goldsboro. We also saw photos from Burt's football days, his movie and tv days and his producer days.
There was also a recent photo of Burt, who turned 78 on February 11th, and his dog Precious.
In this lens I will show you some of the photos I took on our tour of the museum. I hope you enjoy this tour of one of my favorite film stars.
