Can't Lose / Can't Live Without Losing - Korean Drama 2011
MBC Drama about two divorced lawyers
I'm so excited for the new romantic-comedy MBC Drama, Can't Lose staring Hallyu Star Choi Ji Woo who is well known for her beauty and her leading role in many famous Korean Drama such as Winter Sonata and Stairway to Heaven. Her main co-star is Yoon Sang Hyun who played Hallyu Star Singer Oska in Secret Garden.
Choi Ji Woo is a really great actress, but I love her even more after I saw her appearance in Korean Popular TV Reality Show, 1Night 2Days Actresses Special Episodes. She is totally adorable and cute in real life!
And I also love Yoon Sang Hyun, they're perfect together!
Aww the first episode was funny and cute; lots of romantic scenes between Choi Ji Woo and Yoon Sang Hyun. On the 2nd episode, the couple celebrate their first wedding anniversary which ends in disaster and the start of their "fighting and bickering" which leads to them filing for a divorce. Sad that the rating is only a single digit though.

Can't Lose Synopsis
Can't Lose starts with Eun Jae and her husband's (Hyung Woo) happy wedding day (as can be seen from all the still pictures released by MBC). They married 1 month after they first met so they didn't really know each other's true characters and personalities. They are both successful lawyers but they begin fighting and after one year, decided to file for a divorce.
I think this romantic comedy drama will be interesting as Choi Ji Woo is famous for playing a cold-character role (which is quite the opposite of her aegyo / cute approachable funny real life personality as we saw in her guest appearance on 1night 2days). Two lawyers in the middle of a divorce process with each other will definitely produce a great funny storyline. Hyung Woo is a perfectionist who always follows the rule so I can imagine him dictating his wife / his soon-to-be ex-wife with many doctrines about their divorce procedures and process. On the other hand, Eun Jae is a messy person and a perfectionist Hyung Woo can't handle his wife's messiness :D
I don't know what the ending will be like, but hopefully they will get back together! Ha...
I'm also excited with the supporting characters of Go Gi Chan and his wife, Kim Young Joo. Go Gi Chan is a close friend of Hyung Woo since college (they both took law course). Unfortunately, Gi Chan never take his studies seriously and fails so many times on his bar exams. Contrary to Gi Chan, his wife is an amazing woman who becomes breadwinner for their family. From the photoshoot it seems like Go Gi Chan is a husband who's scared and afraid of his wife!
Can't Lose Casts
Can't Lose has got amazing list of actors and actresses. I'm actually surprised that three of them were recently the guests in 1night 2days special actresses & actors trip
1. Choi Ji Woo joined the 1n2d cast on their actresses special trip
2. Kim Jung Tae who shot to stardom after his appearance on 1n2d actors special trip. Still remember his funny scene singing Bang-ga Bang-ga (a scene from his He's on Duty Movie) and his 2 hours dedication of making noodles from scratch. Happy to hear him getting so many different offers afterwards. People may also remember him playing Hiramaya from his recent drama, Miss Ripley.
3. Song Dong II also made his appearance on 1n2d actors special trip. I mostly remember him as Director Ban on My Girlfriend is a Gumiho.

Have you seen Choi Ji Woo in any Korean Drama?
If you haven't seen her in any Korean Drama, I highly recommend Winter Sonata. This 2002 Drama portrays a story of a first love of a beautiful couple, Kang Jun San and Jeong Yu Jin. Yu Jin's cheerful personality helped Jun San to believe in love as for years he believed nobody loved him. Unfortunately, their love cut short after Jun San lost his memory from a fatal accident. Living as different person with new identity created by his mother, Lee Min Hyung, starts his new life in the United States. But one day, he meets with Yu Jin again.
So what will happen with Yu Jin and Jun San / Min Hyung's love story? Will they finally be together? Watch this beautiful romantic drama from the comfort of your home.
If you love melo-drama, don't miss Choi Ji Woo's Stairway to Heaven. The storyline is quite similar with Winter Sonata - the painful and hard long way to be together with her first childhood love, Cha Song Joo.
In this drama, Choi Ji Woo plays a character "Han Jung Suh" who lost her mother due to cancer. Her father marries another woman and this woman's daughter (plays by Kim Tae Hee) does everything she can to ruin Jung Suh's life. One day she purposely got Jung Suh into an accident resulting Jung Suh to lost her memory and live as different person with new identity "Kim Ji Soo". When she regains her memory, she tries to find her first love again but unfortunately, she's diagnosed with eye cancer!
So, will Song Joo and Jung Suh / Ji Soo be together at the end? Will love conquer all? Watch Stairway in Heaven from the comfort of your home.
