Which guy do you think had the best swag?
Some people have that stage presence that commands the viewer’s attention each time they get up there and sing. Breaking down the singers by decade and by gender we start with the 1960’s and the men who had that charisma and stage presence. There is a saying that goes: you either have it or you don’t and these men had it.
James Brown- James was the ultimate performer who was really theatrical. James would enter the stage with a cape and would begin his show by having a member of his band take it off. When he was through he would kneel down and the cape would be put back on. James Brown may not have had the best singing voice, but he made up for it with enthusiasm and great dance moves. You can see how he influenced Michael Jackson because James could really move. James also had that way of adding sounds to his songs and who wouldn’t want to dance to “I Feel Good”, “Super Bad”, “Get Up” and countless other songs that are his greatest hits.
Additional swag info: James was 5’ 6” tall and a Taurus. He was married four times and had 6 kids.
Tom Jones- Wales produced one powerful singer in Tom Jones. Tom had the hair, the unbuttoned shirt, the gold necklace, the tight pants, and a pair of lungs that really grabbed the listener in. Tom could sing the ballads and the fast numbers with ease. Case in point “The Green, Green Grass of Home” and “Help Yourself.” He also had a way of making the ladies swoon with his dance moves and sex appeal. I attended a concert of his a few years back and Tom had lost none of his energy or his way of grabbing an audience. He is a great performer.

Mick many not be considered handsome and he may not have been the tallest singer around, but when he took the stage all eyes were on him. Mick had the strut, the lips, and limitless energy. When he took the stage he was never one to stand in place he covered it all. Going solo Frank continued to wow his audience with his wonderful tone and great emotion that he could put into a song. His stage presence appealed to the males as well as the females.
