The Best Christian Songs About Faith Are Here!

This is a collection of my favorite Contemporary Christian songs about faith. You can find these songs on the radio if you listen long enough but you can't find them reliably or play them back-to-back as you can here. I'm hoping you will enjoy these songs and you will return often to help keep your faith strong. Faith is the cornerstone of the Christian walk.

"Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1

Chris Tomlin - God of Wonders

The Isaacs - Waiting In The Water

I saw the Isaacs perform this live at Trinity Music City Auditorium on October 1st, 2013. It was the most moving performance of the night, perhaps the most moving song I've ever heard and it speaks directly to faith.

The female singing lead revealed that until she experienced a healing a couple years prior, she had chronic Chron's Disease for 12 years that eventually made every nerve ending in her body painful, even in her eyes.

So I looked this up because you need to hear it too.

Building 429 - We Won't Be Shaken

Kutless - What Faith Can Do

What Faith Can Do by Kutless has a powerful lyric that adds up to: Hold on to your faith and believe!

Elevation Worship - Give Me Faith

Bible Verses About Faith

Faith Builders

Then Jesus answered, "Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.." Matthew 15:28

Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him." Hebrews 11:2

Using your own logic and wisdom to determine if God exists is a path that seems like it would give a definitive answer. But it can be a faulty path.

First, it opens up avenues of exploration cleverly designed by Satan to deceive you.

Second, two people, or even entire groups of people, can claim to be thinking logically yet arrive at opposite conclusions. Logic is not as infallible as many assume, it's affected greatly by the quality of information.

Third, the information you gather to decide if Christ is who He claims may be historical in nature and therefore fallible. If an accident involving 15 cars happened yesterday, interviews of the witnesses and victims would produce multiple versions of what occurred. Twenty years in the future those stories would change even further. For various reasons, some might claim the accident never happened. Yet. we're going to use historical evidence, or lack of it, from over 2,000 years ago to arrive at a correct conclusion?

Fourth, it ignores God's instruction through His word. The wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.

You may believe logic is your strong suit but don't trust it. it's your belief by faith that will save you.

The proof that the Christian walk is the correct path is not found in researching then logically deciding "if it's true." The proof is found in living it. It's found in the fruits of walking it out and discovering the peace, joy, assurance, blessings and comfort that comes from giving your all to the one true God of this world, Jesus Christ, and making Him the center of your life!

"For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, 'The righteous shall live by faith." Romans 1:17

"Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1

Suicides Up 28 Per Cent Among Middle Aged in the U.S.

I was shocked to read just a few days ago that suicides are up 28% in the United States among the middle aged.

The article gave possible reasons: loss of jobs, home foreclosures, and severe reductions in income in a bad economy. The writer concluded these things can lead to feelings of depression, feelings of worthlessness, and finally, suicide. Since the economy is bad, suicides are up was the message, but the article didn't mention the ultimate root cause of suicide: lack of faith in God.

Faith is the ultimate defense against anything Satan assails you with. But God has been driven out of our society so systematically and thoroughly that many don't even consider the lack of faith as an optional cause of depression. Many don't consider turning to God as an optional cure for despair so great that one would take their own life.

Simply calling yourself a Christian "By grace I'm saved" then going on about your life as if you weren't Christian doesn't make you immune to suicide. But if you've truly made Christ the center of your life your self worth is not wrapped up in your job or finances. A Christian's self worth stems from being a son or daughter of The King of Kings. A Christian's hope and joy is not in an income, money or anything temporal. A Christian's joy is in walking the Christian walk by faith. A Christian's hope is in dwelling with Him for eternity where every negative has been stripped away by His cleansing grace; where His love pours out on you continually; where the real party never stops.

As we walk the Christian walk we do ourselves a huge favor by drawing as near to God as possible. Because the nearer we are to this glory of God, the better our lives get. As we draw nearer to His light the dark side is pushed out. Negatives like despair and fear simply disappear from our thought process. We discover increased joy, hope, love, strength, kindness and other positives as we surrender to His will. The further one wanders off that one true path, the more they are subject to the darker powers: the negatives of fear, depression, anxiety, hopelessness and more.

It's not that Christians don't have problems. God permits Satan to test our faith, and sometimes the tests are extreme. Does the story of Job ring a bell? But Christians have a source of hope and strength only He can provide that guides them through tribulations. If Job can endure all he went through as his faith was tested, Christians can endure the loss of a job, a reduction in income, or even homelessness if it comes to that, not such a big deal when viewed with eternal perspective.

Some of the 28% increase in suicides is the result of bad choices. People embezzle money. Politicians accept bribes. People commit adultery then lie to cover their tracks. There's never been an adulterer who wasn't also a liar. With these negative actions that hurt others comes regret, a guilty conscience, a feeling of being trapped, boxed in by your actions with no easy way out. As the web of deceit tightens suicide can appear to be the best option.

Christians know what sin is in its many forms and know that God is not being mean and wants to take away our fun, but rather, He's being kind to us by instructing us to avoid getting trapped in despair.

Guilt and the symptoms that emerge from it can be masked with the hundreds of millions of dollars worth of anti-anxiety and depression meds taken in the U,S, every year but can't be permanently cured by them.Taking medication to mask the root problem shell games the problem for only so long. Christians know there is but one permanent cure and it's a free gift: Jesus, the passover lamb of all passover lambs allowed Himself to be slaughtered to forgive our sins. Accepting His gift and following Him is the path to a permanent cure.

Faith Destroyers

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness" 1 Corinthians 3:19-20

Ultimately there is one chief deceiver out to destroy your faith, Satan. He influences people to spread the lie that there is no God.

A physicist proclaims, "There is no God, He simply wasn't necessary to create the universe." A sociologist decides, "God didn't create our morals we developed them ourselves." And the media gleefully promotes Satan's agenda with headlines and articles painting these lies as "great new discoveries."

For many years, children have been forced to learn in public school that God didn't create us in his image. According to school textbooks humans evolved from ape-like creatures that evolved from one celled organisms, probably the biggest lie ever foisted on a population in the history of the world.

Add up all the lies and you have the so-called "smartest people on the planet" telling us in chorus that there is no God. He's a silly myth. A fairy tale.

Aren't these the same "super smart scientists" that warned man made Global Warming is leading us to destruction? Didn't they say that without immediate massive intervention the process is not reversible? Do you mean the same scientists now scrambling to explain why the latest data clearly shows the earth has been cooling for the last fifteen years?

The latest lame excuse to cover up the discrepancy between prediction and reality is laughable: the deep oceans are storing the excess heat, the earth will start warming again when the oceans reach capacity. Yes, it will, but it's because the earth is always either warming or cooling!

Hold fast to your faith. Believe none of it. Never think these types are smarter than you; that you therefore must be mistaken to believe in God' Trust in Him and His Word. Yes, most of these false proclaimers cited in the media possess above average to high IQ's. But most are also extremely deficient in wisdom, deficient in common sense and deficient in the ability to apply logic and arrive at truthful conclusions. How can they apply wisdom when the Bible says wisdom begins with a fear of God?

Scientists who attempt to destroy faith with science buy into a Satan-led agenda to attack Christianity.

They may cloak themselves in college degrees and superficially impressive titles but they are not at all "the best and the brightest." In many cases, the scientists and sociologists painted as the "smart people" by the media who worships them would best be described as the "dullest and dimmest" if their poor, sloppy and agenda-influenced work is any indication. Their conclusions fail under the scrutiny of the scientific process they claim to follow. Their conclusions fail when the test of simple common sense is applied.

Their conclusions fail for one simple reason: they are absolute lies.

Even the very foundation of the atheistic belief system, The Theory of Evolution, is full of holes. Adaptation within a species, which obviously does occur, has beem pedaled as evolution of one species into another for decades.

If it occurred why has evolution stopped? According to the Theory, if a mutation occurs and it's useful in the slightest way, it is assimilated into the genetic characteristics of subsequent offspring and continues to develop. So why isn't there a group of isolated humans somewhere on earth who have evolved a third arm? Or perhaps evolved an eye in the back of their head?

According to The Theory, two eyes must have started from nothing then evolved to completion at some point in the historical timeline because they were useful. Wouldn't an eye in the back of our heads be extremely useful? How useful would a third arm be? We could play on a computer, talk on an iPhone and drink coffee simultaneously : )

Show me this population with a back-of-the-head eye. Show me the population where an eye in the back of the head has even started to form. Or one in which the stub of that third arm is beginning to grow. Or anything similar.

How did a complex organ such as the eye evolve in the first place? It's useless until it has all of that complexity. So bit by bit it evolved, increasing in complexity to become the useful thing it is, even though, throughout the purported evolutionary process it was useless? It evolved in stereo even, to give us depth perception. All by itself, huh?

How did stereo depth perception evolve? Scientist try to explain this fact away with computer models pre-programmed to give the results they desire. But it's a lie. No eye evolved anywhere, ever, without a creator. It's ridiculous. There's no way two eyes evolved in order to give depth perception because that is a concept first, requiring an intelligent designer.

The Theory of Evolution is based on mutations occurring in a population that eventually become the norm. Yet what we observe is that mutations don't become the norm.

If a baby is born with an extra arm or even an extra head it doesn't eventually turn into a group of people with two arms or two heads. Over time the mutation dissipates and disappears. So the foundation of the Theory is contradictory to what is observed. Yet somehow, they've hijacked and warped the true scientific process that requires that observation to be part of the conclusion to conclude the opposite of what is observed. That's called convoluted logic and that is the so-called science that is practiced by these atheistic charlatans.

In the same way, all so-called scientific discoveries that are falsely promoted as "proof that God doesn't exist" fail under scrutiny. In some cases the math is flawed, in some cases there are inconvenient questions that have no logical answer and are glossed over in the zeal to shake the faith of Christians.

In fact, the scientific process can not lead to a conclusion about anything faith-based, scientists themselves have said that for years, but now, as mankind becomes more depraved physicists, scientists and sociologists are making those claims anyway. They are becoming emboldened enough to plainly reveal their true agenda: destroy belief in God.

Do not let this sort of nonsense shake your faith.

When you see this ridiculous, unsubstantiated babble about God not being needed to create the earth and so forth, simply remember that it's a lie and at the the root of it is the father of all lies, Satan.
