Updated on December 07, 2014

Oh No! That Girl has Gone Wild - Hide Your Husbands, Your Keys, and Your Favorite Pair of Heels...Or Just Join Her!

So she's a wild child is she? ... and you're hunting for a song to tell the world just how crazy she is! You've come to the right place Ombre.. Because after extensive research using the best tools known to man...a laptop and a bottle of tequila...science has determined that these 10 Wild Girl Country Songs were written just for her!

You're in the right place if she's a brat, she says what she thinks, her filter never works, she dances anywhere including the roof of trucks, she parties too hard, you usually have to bail her out of some sort of trouble, she finally dumped that no-good-for-nothing feller in first class country style or she's just oblivious to her own badness and no one has the heart to tell her that 'she's just plain wicked'.

Let's Start with Some Travis Tritt - The Girl's Gone Wild

It's Spring Break and These Girls are Out for More than a Good Time

Getting outrageous, this girl is heading for a truckload of party trouble...and she's using Daddy's credit card...Momma's not too happy about that! And do ya know what she used that credit for, a Tattoo ...oh no, it's not good for momma and daddy because that was only the beginning of the party. Wine coolers, flip flops, bikini tops and cut-offs..this won't end well...but these girls could care less; it's time to 'wind it up and let it rip'.

If your wild girl parties too hard leaving a trail of destruction, then this Travis Tritt wild girl tune was meant for her...Look on the bright side, by the time she's a grandma, she's gonna have a lot of stories to tell her grand babies!

That Girl's Gone Wild - Watch Her Crazy Antics!

You'll Find 'Girl's Gone Wild on the Album, 'My Honky Tonk History'

My Honky Tonk History
My Honky Tonk History

You'll Find 'Girl's Gone Wild' on Travis Tritt's album 'Honky Tonk History' - This was his 9th album at the time and was released in 2004. It peaked at number seven on the top country billboard chart and number fifty on the US billboard 100.

The album features twelve terrific songs including, 'What Say You' featuring John Mellencamp, and 'I See Me'.

Downtown by Lady Antebellum - The Video Makes this Song! Be Sure to Watch it!

Perfect Song for the Quiet Type Who Finally Decides to Let Her Inner Wild OUT!

The video begins with the band trying to decide what they want to do for the night, and Hillary Scott (Band Member) asks if she can go Downtown with them and they quickly let her know that she's a bit of goodie-two-shoes who doesn't know how to have a good time; probably not a wise thing to say! Next scene, Hillary calls Beth Behrs (from 2 Broke Girls) and asks her if she wants to go out, letting her know that she not only wants to party, but is aiming to be bad enough to get arrested!

Be sure to watch right to the end of the video - The band members play the police officers that Hillary and Beth taunt, and the entire 'getting arrested scene' is hilarious!Photo:

Note to kids...don't do this in real life :) - it's only O.K. in a music video!

The Band Members Accused Hillary Scott of Being a Goodie-Two-Shoes...Big Mistake, Huge! (Yah, Just Like a 'Pretty Woman' Big Mistake)

Did You Know that the Writers of 'Downtown' Originally Planned for Miranda Lambert to Sing this Song?

Golden
Golden

Song writers are Luke Laird, Shane McAnally and Natalie Hemby. It was released in January 2013 as a single from their Album, 'Golden'. It debuted at position 25 on the Billboard Hot Country Chart making it their highest debuting single as of that date. Of course it made it to number 1 on Canada's Country Billboard and number 2 on the USA Country Chart; it positioned at number in the US for Country Airplay.

Cop Car by Keith Urban - "I Was Too Busy Watching Her Going Wild Child to Be Worried about Going to Jail"

He falls in love with her while he watches her go wild-child when they put the cuffs on her

It's the story behind this song that makes it drop dead sexy to listen to. How many of us girls have wanted to let our inner-wild-child out in a 'pressure cooker moment'? I'm going to take a wild-guess and say it's most of us!

This video lets you imagine a hot night with your guy gone so completely wrong that it turned out right! To really appreciate this song, listen closely to the lyrics...sexy: It's about a young couple who accidentally trespassed onto property and of course they end up in the company of the police where she decides to turn on her charm..it doesn't work...and as her boyfriend sits in the back seat, watching her go-wild-child on the police, he's falling deeply for her. By the time she gets in the car, it's over. He's done. He's in love with that wild thing.

'By the time they let us go, I was already gone' ...I fell in love in the back of a cop car.

'You Were So Innocent But You Were Stealing My Heart, I Fell In Love in the Back of a Cop Car'

Swear Your Daddys Gonna Kill Me! <---How many of us girls can relate to this lyric! - You Can Find 'Cop Car' on Keith Urban's 2013 Album 'Fuse'

Fuse
Fuse

Fuse by Keith Urban was released on May 14, 2013. It contains 12 fabulous tracks including this 'hot song' Cop Car. As of the time of writing this, Cop Car has reached 4th on the US Hot Country Billboard, and 5th position in Canada. There are two other popular hit songs you may be familiar with on this album, 'We Were Us' and 'Little Bit of Everything'.

God Love Her by Toby Keith - 'She's a Rebel Child and Preacher's Daughter'

'She holds tight, me and the Bible On the back seat of my motorcycle' (lyrics)

It's a common tale isn't it...the preacher's daughter is no angel! Remember the movie Footloose? ...same thing! Maybe it's safer to have a bad boy father...Bad boy father raises good girl daughter and like this song, good boy father raises bad girl daughter!

Again, it's the video that makes this song...'Me and God Love Her'. She's bound and determined to turn her parent's hair 3 alternating shades of grey! Her inner wild girl is long time out in this song...as she hops on the back of his motorcycle. Well I know my dad would have pitched a fit! But my dad grew up 'a little bad boy' (a little, hahaha) and look at me...his good girl daughter. Theory proved.

So how about you ...good boy father raises bad girl daughter? Feel free to tell your story in the comments below..or any other bad girl tale you want to share for that matter.

Cliched Theme or Not This Country Song Made it to Number 1 !

That Don't Make Me A Bad Guy
That Don't Make Me A Bad Guy

God Love Her can be found on Toby Keith's 2008 album, 'That Don't Make Me a Bad Guy'. It was co-written by himself and Vicky McGehee and released as the second single from that album in 2009. And yes, it hit number one on the billboard hot country charts..no surprise, that was Toby Keith's 18th number 1 song to top that list.

Fastest Girl in Town, by Miranda Lambert - 'I see the bluelights, we better run' (lyrics)

She ropes him in with her girl-stuff and while he's counting his chickens long before they're hatched, she and her friend 'take' his car. Unfortunately for him, despite a desperate car chase, it turns out badly; he winds up in jail, while she are her friend win the race and safely head for a beer..with his car.

He should have guessed that she was the fastest girl in town ... in more ways than one - I guess he was blinded by her good looks, tight pants and a few other things. She asks him for a light and that my friends, was the beginning of the end for him. We know a quote only too well that applies to this don't we...'girls rule boys drool' :)

This applique featuring that famous quote is all pretty and soft, but there's no way that the Fastest Girl in Town is soft in this video! But Miranda could easily wear this one on her jeans for this video, because after-all, that's what this song is all about!

Watch the Video - It's Fun! 'Ain't No Use in Tryin' to Slow me Down' (lyrics)

Four The Record
Four The Record

Fastest Girl in Town was written by Miranda Lambert and Angaleena Presley. It peaked on the US Hot Country Billboard at number 7.

I'm pleading the fifth, my friend! I mean, I COULD tell you but then I'd have to kill you, and I love you way too much. So trust me, in this case discretion really is the better part of valor. ;) This article is as much of a hoot as most of the songs, Barbara. I love everything about it!

@Nancy Hardin: I enjoyed seeing this tribute to you, too, nancycarol, and after gettin' my, er, coffee stirred with all this talk about wild children, at my age, I need to go cool off a bit. But what the heck, I already opened that first page Brite-Ideas linked to about your own wild-child moments, so off I go for more fun.

Hmmm. Well, I can't tell the whole story but it involves a Harley, a 110 degree day, a meandering river, some tall grass, a few bushes and a pickup truck that decided maybe that wasn't the best spot to park just then.

What a rockin' good lens, full of fun and bad energy.

My personal wildest child moment is X-rated and can't be told here, but it relates to be so drunk I couldn't see until it was too late. I never got that loaded again. Well, maybe once.

@Nancy Hardin: Nancy, you've been on a motorcycle and I haven't ...that right there says you know how to live a little and a lot! oh by the way, even when we're bad we're still ladies...ask our significant others - apparently they like that side of us

Oh Barbara my friend, my sweet! What a lovely thing to write about this old gal. To include me and some of my writing in your lens...well, it just about leaves me speechless and I thank you so much! What a great lens, too about the wild side of those of us who are always "women," but not necessarily always "ladies!" Precious, and thank you again.
