Crystal Renn ~ A Real Role Model
Crystal Renn ~ Fabulous Plus Size Model
Crystal Renn is a REAL Women. She is Beautiful, appears as a Girl Next Door, and even Exotic depending on the need of her photo shoot assignments.
She is also Size 10, and for quite a while, a size 14. She is described as curvaeous, voulptuous, and sensuous. That's a good thing, isn't it?
Recent Quote from Crystal Renn: "I'm freaking out. Zac is one of the ones you want. Zac, Calvin and Marc are the big three. I booked one of my three." She said Posen "wants women to be able to fit [into his clothes] and to be able to buy them. They're making the clothes for my size and everything. This is how fashion should be." Does this mean real women will be more recognized?
We can only hope...

Would you call Marilyn Monroe fat?
I think not...
Marilyn Monroe has been considered a sex symbol and an ideal beauty for, literally, decades.
Her dress size has been reported to be anywhere from a size 8-10, but most probably a 12 at her most voluptuous.
By today's standard, for actresses and models, that would have classified the dear Miss Monroe as Plus Size. That just goes to show how skewed our "gotta-be-thin" culture has become.
Should Designers design for real Women instead of bigger sizes of tiny people clothes? - That is... for those of us that are more than sizes 0-8.
Just as an example: The gown worn in the first picture at the top of this lens has no spaghetti straps and hugs the voluptuous curves.
