Calling All Minion Lovers!
If you are looking for a movie that is both entertaining and family friendly, look no further than Steven Carell's Despicable Me. Despicable Me embodies both a humorous and heart warming tale, about an evil villain Gru and the three little girls that melt his heart. Despicable Me is truly one of my top ten kid's movies to be released in the past several years.
Gru with his band of yellow pill shaped minions, strives to be the most notorious villain the world has ever seen. Unfortunately there is another evil genius standing in his way. From the beginning where he pops a child's balloon, and freezes bystanders with his freeze ray, producers work to portray Gru as being a bad guy. As you continue on through the movie you witness this evil villain's demeanor change, with the help of his three adopted daughters. Gru goes on to battle his desire for evil, and his increasing paternal feelings he has towards the little girls. By the end of the movie you truly get to realize that Gru's ice cold demeanor has been melted by the love of his young daughters.
This family friendly movie will have everyone rolling, and wishing they had one of Gru's minions for their own. Unlike other childrens' movies, Despicable Me has enough humor and sarcasm to entertain both adults and children alike. With an impeccable story line and beautiful graphics, Despicable me is sure to go down in history as one of the leading kid's movies of this decade.
The creators of Despicable Me blew me away with the sequel!
Despicable Me is hands down on of my favorite kids movies to have come out in the past couple years. As a matter of fact if you ask some of my friends they might tell you I am a Despicable Me addict. When I found this cake on YouTube I couldn't help but share!

If you like the first movie the second one is to die for! Continue the laughs and the family fun with Despicable Me 2. Hands down one of my favorites!
