Donna the Deer Lady

Updated on August 30, 2017

Funny is Healthy

We all love a good laugh. We all know through simple common sense and observation what many studies have proven; that laughing makes you feel good, relieves stress, can improve depression, lower blood pressure, and the list goes on. I try to see the humor in life as much as I can, and often I go to YouTube for my humor fix.

The following YouTube clip cracked me up! I've seen and read many funny things online but this clip made me laugh so hard my stomach hurt. Donna is a lady that has a few misconceptions and is concerned about deer being hit by cars, so she calls the radio station to draw attention to the issue and she's really, really funny. Enjoy Donna's radio calls, remember some of your own silly mess-ups, and have a good laugh with Donna the Deer Lady!

Donna calls the radio station to voice her opinion...

"Why are we encouraging deer to cross the interstate?"

Donna calls back for a follow-up...

Some people thought that Donna was a fake, but she really was in earnest with her concerns about deer crossing signs. Her follow-up call to the radio station, after she realizes her mistake, is as funny as the first. Enjoy!

Did Donna's radio phone calls make you laugh?

Want more funny? - Most Hilarious Book Ever

Funny books generally make me smile, or giggle quietly to myself. This one made me laugh until I COULD NOT BREATHE, because it was so funny I had to read it out loud to my husband, and we ended up reading the whole thing to each other, when we could suppress the laughter long enough.

You gotta love the radio host's reaction near the beginning of the call. You can just hear him trying to hold back the laughter. This is great stuff!

@weirdproduct: Yes...we must take care of those who are less fortunate than ourselves in the intellectual department. And make fun of them when we can :)

It's hilarious, and at the same time, sad that these people are out there among us. Nice Lens!
