Dream High - Korean Drama 2011

Updated on October 12, 2014

Musical & Dance Drama about Dream, Hope, Friendship and Love

If you love Glee or musical drama, you will love Dream High, Korean musical drama which was aired at the beginning of 2011 featuring idol stars such as Miss A Suzy, 2PM Taecyeon and Wooyoung, T-ara Eun Jung and IU and the rising young actor star, Kim Soo Hyun.

Produced by KeyEast, JYP Entertainment and CJ Media, this drama revolves around the dreams of its 6 main casts who study at Kirin Art High School. They enter this prestigious school which is famous of producing great musical talents, with the hope and dreams that after they graduate from this school, they will become musical stars in Korea.

As fans of Korean Pop, I had a high expectations for Dream High and it didn't disappoint. Even though I'm agree with many Dream High fans that some casts didn't portray their characters in justice, however, Dream High storyline and their musical talents made up for their lack of acting talents. And I really love all the soundtracks played in Dream High, they're catchy, and the singers sang the songs with pure & raw emotions.
