Born in a small town in Ontario, Canada in 1986, Emily VanCamp's first love was dancing, not acting. Emily is well schooled in several different styles of dance, and it was not until she saw one of her older sisters in a small film role, did Emily catch the acting bug. VanCamp hired herself an agent and was soon cast in various TV commercials.

After some small parts in movies and television, Emily's big break came in 2002, when she secured a starring role in the TV show, Glory Days. The show was short-lived, but the role led to VanCamp being cast in the prime time drama television series Everwood, which ran on the WB Network from 2002-2006. Emily moved from Montreal to Utah to be closer to the filming site, but soon would relocate to Los Angeles.

Emily's next big television role came in the form of Brothers and Sisters, which is a series that airs in ABC. VanCamp did not even have to audition for the part due to her close working relationship with Greg Berlanti, who is one of the show's executive producers. Emily has been starring as 'Rebecca Harper' in Brothers and Sisters since 2007, but plans to leave the show in 2011.

VanCamp has also found time to do more work in the film arena recently, as she has three starring movie roles; Ben Hur, Norman, and Let Them Shine, all set to be released in 2011.

Emily is an accomplished dancer. Proficient in ballet, jazz, and tap dancing.

Recently my roommate bugroht home some of your coffee that she acquired for free from a local restaurant here in Nashville Tn. Sumatra being one of the blends, and the other I cannot remember. It being free we used it up without paying much attention .however, once it was gone I realized how much I love it and need it in my life. I'm guessing it was a lighter blend I am the farthest from a coffee connoisseur, often preferring gas station coffee over Starbucks (or any boutique roasters) robust flavor blends. The restaurant it came from was PM. Are there certain blends that you send out regularly for promotion or do you change it up? I am not even sure how PM acquired the stash .by profile I'm thinking maybe it was Ethiopia Kaffa Forest. Also, I have not seen it anywhere here in Nashville so I am guessing there are no retailers for it here .yet
