A Story of a Young Love Affects Eternity

Endless Love: Autumn in my Heart is a 16 episode South Korean drama broadcast by KBS Network in 2000, written by Oh Su-yeon and directed by Yun Suk-ho. It is commonly known as the first installment of the four part Endless Love drama series starring Song Hye Kyo as Eun Suh Choi, Song Seung Hun as Yun Jun Suh, Won Bin as Han Tae Seok and Han Chae Young as Choi/Yun Shin Ae. I must say that this drama is definitely a huge hit in many Pan-Asian drama fans due to its heartbreaking story about family, life and love but it's mostly about love. It depicts how true love always prevail in the end amidst adversity.

As the story begins when Yun/Choi Eun Suh (played by Song Hye Kyo) and Choi/Yun Shin Ae (played by Han Chae Young) were accidentally switched at birth. Eun Suh was raised in a wealthy home while the other girl Shin Ae was raised in poverty. One day Eun Suh had a terrible accident when she was 14 years old and hospitalized. It is when her life changed forever and she learned the real truth that the family she had always known was not belong to her. Being saddened by the truth of the reality she was forced to be returned to her rightful birth parent. Eun Suh dearly misses the family that raised her as well as her brother Yun Jun Suh (played by Song Seung Hun).

Years later she meets the brother that she grew up with. They make a conscious decision that since they are not related by blood, they can date each other. Are they mistaking their longing for one another as passionate love or sibling love? Will their family accept their blossoming relationship? Autumn Tale, Autumn Story, Autumn in my Heart will challenge your views about love. Can love exist between two people when the world around them says it's wrong?

Song Hye Kyo who plays the lead female character Yun/Choi Eun-suh is a South Korean model turned actress. Her acting debut was in 1996, in KBS drama called "Happy Morning". Her first lead role came in 2003, starring as Min Su-Yeon in SBS's All In, a 20 episode drama. One of his biggest break came in 2000 in KBS drama "Autumn in My Heart", the first installment of the four part Endless Love drama series as as Choi Eun-suh with Song Seung-hun and Won Bin. In 2004, she starred in a popular romantic comedy series "Full House" Season 1 alongside with the Asian pop figure Rain. Full House became one of the highest rating drama during its year as well across Asia.

Song Seung-heon who plays the loving brother Yun Jun Suh is a South Korean model turned actor who started his career as a model in 1995, modeling for the jeans brand STORM, and began acting in sit-coms and TV dramas in 1996. In 1999 he made his film debut in Calla and has since then gathered a prominent fan base throughout Asia. Song is noted for his roles in Korean dramas like Autumn Fairy Tale (2000) and Summer Scent.

Won Bin who plays Yun Jun Suh's bestfriend and has fallen in love with Eun Suh is a South Korean actor and model. He started his acting career with a supporting role in 1997 in drama Propose. His role in Ready Go! (1998) helped hone his acting chops. After Ready Go!, he took a break and entered a college called Paekche Institute of the Arts in 1998 to take acting classes. His big breakthrough in 2000 with drama Kkokji and Autumn Fairy Tale. His role as a rebellious youngest son in Kkokji proved his acting potential and his role in the widely successful drama Autumn Fairy Tale landed him on the A-list for Korean performers.

Han Chae Young who plays as Choi/Yun Shin Ae, Yun Jun Suh's biological sister is a South Korean actress. She was named as named the "Barbie Doll" of Korea. She is known also for her work in the popular Korean drama Boys Over Flowers as Min Seo Hyun, a model and first love of JiHoo. She also majored performing arts in Dongguk University.

Han Na Na plays Shin Yu Mi, Jun Suh's fiancée is a South Korean actress and a beauty queen who crowned as the Miss Korea in 1999. She graduated from Michigan State University, USA. She loves swimming, skiing, dancing, singing and movies.

      Koreans are very good creating dramas. Sure you will enjoy this but at the same time is very sad.
