If you love the Hawaiian Islands and Maui is your favorite place to live, you'll be pleased to know that there are celebrities living beside you. Below, you'll find a comprehensive list of all the celebrities that were either born on Maui, regularly visit Maui or are permanent residents of Maui. Believe it or not, many people say that they see more celebrities on the Hawaiian island of Maui than they actually do in places like Hollywood or LA. It's difficult to spot celebrities when you are in such a crowded environment. Maui is not quite as crowded as LA or Las Vegas, so when you see a celebrity, you are more likely to recognize them.

Most celebrities migrated to the Hawaiian island of Maui because they wanted to escape to a tropical vacation land. Places like Hollywood, Las Vegas or LA are not exactly celebrity friendly. Everywhere they go, they're going to be surrounded by paparazzi and they need a relaxing escape from that from time to time. The Hawaiian island of Maui offers the perfect spot to get away from all of this drama.
