My Favourite Background Music
We do not have a HiFi, stereo or some or other fancy sound system in our house but I do have my computer in the dining room with a pretty good sound card and speakers.
The house has got an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, which is very nice since I can hear the music whether I am busy in the kitchen, cooking or cleaning, reading a book in the lounge, taking a power nap (wink - wink) in the winter afternoon sun on the couch, or for background music while eating our meals. These are my current favourite CD's.
Masters of Chant
Andrea Bocelli - Cieli Di Toscana (Tuscan Skies)
I probably don't have to say I cannot understand a word of what the man is singing about since I don't speak Italian, but I love listening to the music. It is very calming. All the songs for this album were written especially for him and is based and inspired by his memories.
Andrea Bocelli is an Italian tenor who is completely blind. He is a multi - instrumentalist and has recorded pop and classical music albums as well as eight complete operas. I would love to own more of his albums.
Paul Potts - One Chance
Paul Potts was a mobile phone salesman until he went for an audition for Britain's Got Talent in 2007 and then won the competition. This album "One Chance" went to #1 in nine countries. See a video clip of his first audition below.

Patrizio Buanne - Forever Begins Tonight
Patrizio is an Italian born in Viena. He can speak six languages and is passionate about bringing his music to the world. In the You Tube video below he talks his love for singing romantic music and his debut album "The Italian"
I have the CD "Forever Begins Tonight" with " The Italian" on my wishlist.
