Fifty Shades of Grey Movie

Updated on February 23, 2015

A Movie Wrapped Up

A couple of days ago, Fifty Shades of Grey the movie has completed filming. This is exciting news for fans who have anticipated the movie adaptation. I'm a bit thrilled with the news as well since in just a couple of months, I will see the book story come to life. I'm not really expecting much from it. Of course it would be a punch to the moon if the movie will surpass the book standard. I'm certain that a certain kind of arrangement was made to get into the frenzy without having to deviate to the story entirely.

I really don't know what to expect from the movie since I'm not aware about film restrictions. First, I just hoped that the actors and actresses can pull off their characters. Christian and Ana in the book are two powerful individuals that should dominate the movie and story entirely. Second, I hope the writers did not leave out important lines and scenes. And that the film will bring out the magic that the book possesses.

A Trilogy Packed in One Film

I was just thinking about the Fifty Shades of Grey movie a few days back - will it be adapted as a trilogy or in one packed film? I favored having one film because I didn't think there is enough material to make it into a trilogy. I mean the story is similar to most romance movies. Boy meets girl. They fall in love and they go through difficulties. But through it all, they end up happily. I guess there are a lot of readers who will go against my opinion and I respect that. But you cannot deny that there are many scenes that can be totally ignored and better left out in our imaginations.

As of writing, rumors are circulating that the book trilogy will be packed in one film. However, E. L. James slammed the idea. So, that answers my question then.

The Cast

After months of speculation, the cast has been finalized. A lot of fans were not satisfied with the selection because they were hoping that their favored actor and actress will take the part. Eventually, they accepted the decision. I must admit that I am one of those people who were disappointed but after looking through pictures and videos, I am now convinced that they have selected the cast well.

Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey

Christian Grey is the enigmatic young billionaire who has his eyes set on Ana Steele.

The Soundtrack

Fifty Shades Of Grey: The Classical Album
Fifty Shades Of Grey: The Classical Album

This is not the official soundtrack of the movie. This is a compilation of the classical music mentioned in the trilogy. We can expect a soundtrack when the movie is finally released. So until then, enjoy the various music in this album.

The Movie Trailer

The official movie trailer has not been released yet. We don't even know if it has already been made. So far, the available videos on YouTube are fan-made. But regardless, fans still watch these videos hoping to get a glimpse of what the movie has to offer. The advantage of watching these fan-made videos is it helps people see the chemistry between Jamie Dornan (Christian Grey) and Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele).
