It has been said before that my sense of humour is really quite juvenile, I do not disagree with this statement. I frequently laugh when people trip up (I *know* that I shouldn't) I chuckle inappropriately at interviews when I'm asked by the interviewer to tell me about myself. I once laughed for almost one hour at a family Christmas party ( i was actually sick at the end because I could not stop laughing) When my father stood up, forgot that his belt was undone and his pants feel down, revealing tartan boxer shorts.
Just to demonstrate how unbelievably immature I can be, I have posted a you tube video of Micheal Gove falling. What makes you laugh?
Great topic Hollie... :-)
there should be few more light-hearted forums on here also imho.
Do you know Michael McIntyre? --- this is one of the funniest comedy sketches I have seen, hope you enjoy The Man Drawer...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgUpDGAIdds
Hi Damian, I do know Michael McIntyre, the first time I saw him was on a daytime tv show, and he was talking about how his father had dropped him off at a state school, even though he was wearing the uniform from a private school. I could not stop laughing. But it was one of those, you have to have seen it to appreciate it type moments.
Hollie... he is very funny! :-)
If you go onto youtube and do search for 'the man-drawer' .... it is excellent, just a silly sketch about all the useless things men tend to keep hold of instead of throwing away, but really original and funny --- I tried to put a link on here but it failed...
I have a totally warped sense of humour, as well as a bad habit of laughing out loud when reading on public transport.
For example, I found it hard to control myself when reading Sirens of Titan by Kurt Vonnegut.
My sense of humour also tends to be very politically incorrect.
One of my favourite comedians is Les Barker, who creases me up each time I listen to him.
Here is Les in a lament concerning a particular species of dog
Incidentally, when the latest Poet Laureate was being elected, there was a petition to give Les the job
Here's something else that always makes me giggle!
Ok, so what makes you laugh? I think we all need a good laugh!

What do you do to stop yourself laughing at really inappropriate moments?!We've all been there, standing in the middle of something really serious when the image of your friend falling flat on his face in that puddle in front a crowd of people the other day pops into your mind. What do you do to...
