Get an Outdoor Inflatable Movie Screen for Summer Fun

Updated on June 24, 2013

Turn Your Backyard into a Theater with an Inflatable Movie Screen

Are you looking for a fun way to liven up your family gatherings? How about an outdoor inflatable movie screen? These screens are perfect for summer pool parties, family reunions, or kids' slumber parties. They inflate in just minutes with no fussy set-up required, and when the movie is over, you simply deflate them and pack them in a storage bag until you're ready for another movie night. They're also great for indoor use when it's too rainy or cold to enjoy your outdoor theater. If you're ready to turn your backyard into a movie theater, see the inflatable movie screens below to find one that's right for you.

Outdoor Inflatable Movie Screen with Storage BagCHECK PRICE

We love to spend summer evenings outside, and after enjoying outdoor movies at a local park, we discovered you can also get screens for your yard. Here's the one I'm hoping to get!

This 150-inch portable movie screen self-inflates in just minutes to create a widescreen movie screen that's perfect for backyard get-togethers and family gatherings. You just plug it in, stake it down, and start projecting your favorite movie onto the 150-inch screen. All you'll need then is some popcorn or other tasty snacks to make you feel like you're at the drive-in movies - but with no need to leave home! When the movie's over, the screen collapses and fits in its own carry bag.

Portable screens that don't inflate

Another option for outdoor movie viewing is a portable screen. These screens can be taken apart and set up in just minutes, and they typically come with a storage bag for protecting the screen when it's not in use.  Unlike inflatable screens, which usually come with self-inflaters that simply need to be plugged in and don't require any assembly, these portable screens do require some assembly each time you use them. But you won't need to listen to a noisy blower each time you want to watch a movie.

Since the family outing to the drive-in thetre is almost a thing of the pasy (a shame), these look like they might be the cloesest thing to that experience.
