No one grew up in Cleveland during the sixties without knowing who Ghoulardi was. Cleveland Television WJW TV8's most creative local program made national headlines. It didn't matter how good or bad the movie was, everyone tuned into Ghoulardi.

Ghoulardi was the 'coolest' thing to come along, and his character is still inspiring and entertaining to this day. Ghoulardi had a thing for Dorothy Fuldheim. He interviewed Flash Gordon. The Big Boy Restaurants sold mint lime green milkshakes that matched the color of his wild fur hat. He liked to blow things up with fire crackers.
