Goldie Hawn Biography
Goldie Hawn was born in Washington D.C. on November 21st 1945. Her father Edward Rutledge Hawn was a band musician and her mother Laura was a dance school and jewellery shop owner. She had one sister, Patricia and a brother Edward.
She began taking tap and ballet dance lessons at the age of three. She danced her first performance in the Nutcracker in 1955, as part of the chorus.
She spent her childhood years in Takoma Park Maryland. She graduated from Montgomery Blair High School in 1963.
Goldie began attending American University as a drama major but she never graduated. She dropped out of school to open and run her own ballet school.
Her first television show was in 1967. She was cast for a part on the comedy show Good Morning, World which only stayed on the air for a year. She then got her big break as a regular on Laugh In.
Goldie then went on to star in numerous movies and became both a producer and director.

Goldie Hawn's Relationships
Goldie Hawn was married in1969 to Gus Trikonis. Gus was an actor/director. He directed many popular television shows including Baywatch and The Twilight Zone. Sadly the marriage ended in 1974.
Goldie then married Bill Hudson in 1975. Bill was a member of the band the Hudson Brothers. They had two children together , Oliver Hudson who was born in 1976 and Kate who was born in 1979. This marriage also ended in divorce in 1980. Both Kate and Oliver have become successful in Hollywood.
In 1983 she began a relationship with actor Kurt Russell. They have one son together, Wyatt Russell who was born in 1986. She is still with Kurt although they have never married. The two have appeared together in such films as Overboard and Swing Shift. They plan to release another movie together called Ashes to Ashes. Their son Wyatt is attending the University of Alabama, and playing CHA hockey as a goalie.
Goldie became a grandmother in 2004 when her daughter Kate gave birth to Ryder Russell. Her second grandchild Wilder Brooks was born in 2007 to her son Oliver.

Goldie Hawn has also started her own children's charity. Started in 2003, The Hawn Foundation is dedicated to helping children through mindful awareness training.
