You know K-drama actor Gong Yoo best as the cocky yet lovable Choi Han Kyul in the TV series The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince but did you know that he is a DJ as well? That's right. He was a DJ for G.yoo20 at the Radio Broadcast section of the Korean Defense Media Agency from November 2008-November 2009. Not only that, he also served as a VJ for 'Best Music' at the Agency's Television Broadcast section which aired in Korea and on the Internet from December 2008 to July 2009.
Gong Yoo also finished a term with the Korean Forces which lasted from January 14, 2008 and ended on December 8, 2009.

The 1st Shop of the Coffee Prince is the first K-drama I saw Gong Yoo in and I loved it. The story revolves around a young, hard-working girl (Eun Chan, played by Yoon Eun Hye) who is often mistaken for a boy because of her short hair and tomboyish ways, and a playboy, rich heir (Han Kyul, played by Gong Yoo) to a food corporation who is tasked to run a coffee place and thus prove his worth in the family business by his sick, ailing grandmother. Meanwhile, a troublemaker in her class, Tae-in (Gong Yoo) keeps getting her into trouble. Tae-in is a smart and an athletic student who dislikes Bo-ri for her headstrong personality. As his relationship with his teacher turns for the worse, he gradually becomes attracted to her through a series of complicated events.
