Guns-N-Roses Best Album Of All Time
When I first heard the songs on Guns -N- Roses' Appetite For Destruction in 1988, I knew I had to have this album. The ballad, Sweet Child O' Mine won my heart instantly as did Paradise City and Mr. Brownstone. Axl Rose's energetic singing and Slash's spot on guitar licks made this entire album very enjoyable. Axl can hold a note like an opera tenor and he has a lot of power in his voice. These songs and the whole album are rock and roll masterpieces.
This song list is something that makes you want to get up and dance or head bang through the tunes!
The songs were fresh when they were released with their heavy grooving and swaying tones and the twang of that lead guitar trilling out sweet but hard rock style cries. Anytime I hear a song from this album I crank the stereo as loud as I can get it. The Sweet Child O' Mine lyrics cause me to be sentimental because it makes me think of my children when I hear it. This song became an instant hit when it reached the Billboard Top 100 chart in 1988 and was Guns And Roses' only number one single.
The Album was released on Geffen Records in 1987. It contains some of my all time rock and roll songs. When it came to my local radio station I chased it down and added it to my all time favorite rock and roll album collection right up next to Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rush, and Journey.

She's got eyes of the bluest skies
as if they thought of rain...
I'd hate to look into those eyes
and see an ounce of pain.

Guns N Roses Videos
The energy with this band is incredible and they create a frenzy in the concert hall when they performed in the 80's and beyond. The whole experience is wild and I am regretting not being able to see them. I can still enjoy their videos and sounds through these clips from the internet.
