Gorgeous Mexican Actress Jacqueline Bracamontes
Unless you actually live in Mexico or watch Mexican television, you may not know who Jacqueline Bracamontes is.
I think Jacqueline is as beautiful and talented as any actress we have here in the States.
She was born on December 23rd,1979 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
Her father, Jesus Bracamontes, is the former coach of the Mexican soccer team Chivas Rayadas del Guadalajara.
Jacqueline's knowledge of the world of soccer came in handy later in life as she became the host of Vision AM, a Mexican sports radio show and was invited by Univision to host and report at the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
But that's getting ahead of things.
Jacqueline Bracamontes Early On
When Jacqueline graduated from high school, she went to France to study French which actually is the most logical way to learn it when you think about it.
After that she returned to Mexico and attended Western Institute of Technology and Higher Education (El Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente) where she studied Communication Science.
While she was there, Jacqueline began to model some part time.
The modeling led to her being contacted by Lupita Jones (who was the first Mexican woman to win the title of Miss Universe).
Lupita asked her to enter Nuestra Belleza Mexico (Our Beauty Mexico) which is similar to our Miss America pageant.
Jacqueline entered and went on to win at the State and National level, and went on to represent Mexico in Miss Universe 2001.
She didn't win, but the winner that year Denise Quinones, also went on to become an actress.
Jacqueline Bracamontes on Television
On the heels of winning the title of Miss Mexico, Jacqueline decided to go into television and became a host on several award shows and specials like Teletaion, a telethon to raise money for children's rehabilitation centers.
This led to her acting debut in the Mexican telenovela Cómplices al rescate, though it was only a bit part.
She followed that with another small part in Entre el amor y el odio and Vivan los niños! in 2002.
In 2003 though, she got a bigger role in Alegrijes y Rebujos as Angelica Rivas and that led to her break out role in 2004's Rubi as Maribel de la Fuente.
Although Babara Mori starred as Rubi, Jacqueline's role as her best friend got her a lot of attention.
That in turn led to La Fea Mas Bella.
You may have heard of La Fea Mas Bella ("The Most Beautiful, Ugly Girl ") because it was based on the Colombian telenovela "Betty la fea" and it gave birth to ABC's "Ugly Betty".
Interestingly enough, La Fea Mas Bella had more viewers than it's American counterpart.
Sadly, unlike Mexican telenovela stars Marlene Favela and Ninel Conde, Jacqueline never appeared on the "show within a show" Vidas de Fuego on Ugly Betty.

Jacqueline Bracamontes in Film
After La Fea Mas Bella came Jacqueline's first starring role, Miranda San Llorente de Aragon on Heridas de Amor in 2006.
When Heridas de Amor ended, she appeared in her first (and so far only) film, Cuando Las Cosas Suceden (2007).
Jacqueline has gone on to appear in Al diablo con los guapos (2007), Las tontas no van al cielo (2008), Sortilegio (2009) and Mujeres Asesinas 3 (2010).
Jacqueline Bracamontes Gets Married
On October 1st, 2011, Jacqueline married Martin Fuentes, a Mexican businessman in Guadalajara and has been busy being a new wife.
Although I am hoping she returns to acting soon.
Because she is beautiful, she can act, but she has one thing that sets her apart from a lot of actresses today....class.
Something that the Mexican and American film industry can always use more of.

Martin Fuentes Cheating on Jacqueline Bracamontes?
Well it seems the Mexican tabloids seem to think so.
A very blurry photo showed up on the internet that is supposed to be Martin kissing someone.
But if it really is, is anyone's guess.....
