This a list of mainstream artists who have embraced gospel reggae music. The names include Clive Tennors, Hopeton Lewis, Sanchez, Papa San, Carlene Davis, Richie Stephens, Judy Mowatt, Lt. Lester Lewis, who founded the Singing Rose Ministry International, is widely believed to be the pioneer of reggae gospel music.

Lester Lewis - Jamaican Gospel Artist

~ Founder of Lester Lewis and the Singing Rose ~

Lester Lewis is a Jamaican gospel musician I deeply admire. If you ever get the chance to read about his life story, I suggest you do. It is nothing short of inspiring and testifies to God's ability to forge a path of restoration and purpose. Lester Lewis had a difficult life before he devoted himself to the Lord and hasn't looked back since. He has traveled extensively in Jamaica promoting and sharing the Good News through Jamaican gospel songs. Lewis released his first album in 1988 and won the Jamaica Gospel Song Festival shortly after. His music ministry is powerful and the world is blessed by it.

Anytime that I listen to Jamaican praises such as that of Busy Signal then I feel like naturalising in Jamaica.
