James Morrison is one of the few well loved singer-songwriters in the UK. He rose to fame in 2006 due to his debut album "Undiscovered" that debuted at the top of the UK charts.

In September 2009, he released his second major album "Song for You, Truths for Me" where it was commercial success in the UK and it entered the album charts at number three and in Ireland where it topped the charts.

He cite his music influences with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding, Van Morrison, and Al Green.
