Jedi Order of Cleanliness
There are few things better than snuggling up into the warmth of a cotton robe on a cold morning (or a rainy, lounge day). I have one snuggie and three other robes besides this one but this is my go-to for body swaddling comfort! If you've read any of my other lenses you know I'm a bit of a geeky girl so when I received this Jedi Robe for Christmas last year I immediately threw it on and sauntered around the house with it on.
Although it's not likely something you'll be wearing out and about (I've worn it to the store!) the color really does work for anyone. It's a tan color with undertones of reddish or orange: very neutral. The Jedi Order symbol is a dark brown patch on the left side.
The material is not too soft (not like fleece) and not too rough; it actually has the feeling of my favorite towel! The hood completely envelopes your head and drapes down, allowing the wearer to sink further into the depths to disappear from society when it's just too much!
This robe goes down to my toes and the sleeves dangle off my arms but it's perfect (if I'm not doing dishes) for those reasons! It's large and long for certain.
I get tons of compliments from family, friends and anyone who delivers food to our house past 6pm! Everyone who has seen it has wanted one for themselves. There have been some negative reviews written about washing it but I've washed mine several times and only lost a few threads here and there. Once, my puppy made a nest of the bottom by scraping it with his paws for awhile but even then I lost very little material.
Go out and get this for any and every geek in your life (even if it's you!).
Dance around your living-room or show up as the warmest person at the next Costume party. Either way, wrap up in the warmth of an over-sized robe and fall in love with being (mostly) naked all over again!
Whether you want to join the Sith Order or follow Han Solo around as his loyal wookie, there are a myriad of choices from the Star Wars universe provided for robe wearers!
