Jo Jung Suk / Jo Jeong Seok is a very talented musical actor in Korea. He debuted in 2004 and many theater musical theatre lovers know him as a very versatile musical actor who doesn't hesitate to portray adverse kind of characters. He branched out to tv screen last year.

He stared in his first drama, What's Up in 2011 where he portrayed a shy, awkward & introvert musical student Kim Byung Gun, musically talented young man who doesn't have enough confidence to sing in public.

He gave viewers more reason to love him through his powerful portrayal of Nabtteuggi in movie Introduction to Architecture.

But his stellar performance as idealist Eun Shi Kyung in the latest black comedy melodrama The King 2Hearts has propelled him as one of the most rising actor in 2012. He currently receives plenty of love calls and viewers hope that he will get his very first lead role soon.

He is also receiving many CF (advertisement) offers such as U LTE mobile phone and Hyundai BlueLink.

Jo Jung Suk made his small screen comeback through KBS Weekend Drama The Best Lee Soon Shin, premiered in March 2013.

He's currently promoting his latest movie with actress Shin Min Ah My Love My Bride. A movie about a newly married couple.

Jo Jung Suk Cuts from What's Up & The King 2Hearts drama

Jo Jung Suk's 180deg transformation from goofy & awkward Kim Byung Gun in What's Up to earnest adorable cute personal guard Eun Shi Kyung in The King 2Hearts has won me over. His ability to adapt to these two very different characters and made each character his own; made the viewers and me personally to root for his character. He's truly the scene stealer.

In the King 2Hearts, his brilliant chemistry with fellow actress Lee Yoon Ji has took their loveline to the moon. Even though they're the STP (Secondary True Pairing), but it's one of the most memorable STP pairing in the K-drama history.
