Keep kids safe with temporary medic alert tattoos

Updated on June 13, 2014

Kids who are diabetic often hate to wear bracelets or necklaces as medic alerts. But most kids love temporary tattoos!

These medical alert temporary tattoos are such a great idea! They are the perfect answer for vacations, trips to the zoo, or other events where your child might need quick and accurate treatment, especially if he or she is not with a parent at the time, such as on a school trip. Or, even though we hate to think of these things, in case of a car accident if a parent might be unable to provide the information.

The alerts are colorful and easy to apply. They are completely waterproof so they are perfect for trips to the beach or the pool and will last 3-4 days. In fact, they are equally as useful for adults as for kids. I bought some myself to wear to music festivals and other outdoor events.

But children especially will probably much more happy to wear the tattoo then the jewelry. They may even ask if they can wear them! Displayed on a wrist or arm, they will be immediately visible to medical personnel , caregivers and teachers. And there will be no more lost medical alerts!

Amazon also has these temporary tattoos for other conditions, such as epilepsy, peanut allergies and other allergies, There are even temporary tattoo 'wristbands"  available from an outside seller.

So keep your child safe and let him or her feel trendy this year with these temporary tattoos. Order them in quantity to save on shipping..

@asereht1970: You're welcome! I used one of these temp tattoos when we went to a festival over a week ago and it lasted until I took it off with alcohol 8 days later.

@Elsie Hagley: I was thrilled to find them. I got some that are like tattoo wristbands and I am going to use one of them this evening since we are going to a music festival! I figure if I love them, kids will love them even more!
