Shows My Kids Watched in the early 2000's

My children were born in 2000 and 2001 and watched shows like

PB&J Otter, Rolie Polie Olie, Bear in the Big Blue House, Salty's Lighthouse, Out of the Box, Lazy Town, Rubbadubbers, Miss Spider's SunnyPatch Kids, Maggie and the Ferocious Beast, Maisy Mouse, CatDog, Hey Arnold, Kipper, Caillou, and Oswald;

Some of these are not aired anymore, but were really good. See if you remember them.

PB&J Otter Opening Theme Video

This show appeared on Playhouse Disney and had a total of 65 episodes.

Remember this one? The family lived on a houseboat on the shore of Lake Hoohaw.

The Noodle Dance

Noodle, use your noodle

Noodle, do the noodle dance

Solve a problem, it's no strain

Use your noodle that's your brain

Noodle, use your noodle

Noodle, do the noodle dance

There's an answer you can find

Use your noodle, that's your mind

In a bind, just use your mind

Use your noodle!

Rolie Polie Olie Opening Theme Video

This six season show (1998 - 2004) features Rolie Polie Olie, Zowie, Billy, and other robots living in a world where buildings and other things all have faces. Rolie Polie Olie and his family live in a teapot shaped house. This was a fun one my kids enjoyed.

Bear in the Big Blue House Opening Theme Video

Six Foot Bear, Tutter the mouse, Pip and Pop the Otter twins, Ojo the small bear, and other muppets teach preschool lessons in an entertaining way in every show. My daughter used to smile whenever Ojo came on :)

I remember other characters like Ray, Luna, Shadow

There were 4 seasons (1997 - 2002)

Goodbye Song (Luna)

Bear: Hey this was really fun,,

Luna: We hope you liked it too.

Bear: Seems like we've just begun,

Both: When suddenly we're through.

Bear: Goodbye, Goodbye, good friends, Goodbye.

Both: For now it's time to go.

Bear: But hey! I say, "well that's OK!"

Luna: Cos we'll see you very soon, I know!

Bear: Very soon I know!

Both: Goodbye, Goodbye, good friends, Goodbye!

Luna: Goodbye!

Bear: For tomorrow, just like

Both: Today! The moon, the Bear and the Big Blue House will be waiting for you to come and play. To come and play. To come and play.

Bear: (Spoken to Luna) Goodbye now!

Salty's Lighthouse Opening Theme Video

We watched this on The Learning channel (TLC), part of Ready Set Learn. From what I read, this is a US version of the British television series

TUGS.

Remember when Salty or one of his friends has a problem, they would watch (through binoculars) what the TUGS would do in their situation.

Out of the Box Opening Theme Video

aired on Playhouse Disney from 1998 - 2003.

Tony and Viv do fun things with the kids. Check out this opening theme video & see if you remember.

Out of the Box Ending Song

So long farewell to you my friend,

Goodbye for now until we meet again.

I said so long farewell to you my friend,

Goodbye for now until we meet again.

It's been great to play and sing together... in the box!

And now it's time to say goodbye...

So long farewell to you my friend,

Goodbye for now until we meet a-gaaain!!

Lazy Town Opening Theme song

52 episodes were created from 2004 - 2007. Sportucus and Stephanie help the people of Lazytown learn about eating right and exercising, while Robbie Rotten is always trying to prevent them.

I never realized this was created by Lazytown Entertainment in Iceland. Sportucus is played by Magnus Scheving (an aerobic gymnist who won many awards). He is also the CEO, creator, and co-founder of LazyTown Entertainment.

Bing Bang Lyrics

Bing Bang Diggly Dong

First thing that I say after I wake up

Bing Bang Diggly Dong

I say those words before I go to sleep

Get on up it's time to dance yeah

It's so much fun being up on our feet

So we go up up

To the top

Move around and clap your hands together

Down down turn around

Having fun is what it's all about

Bing Bang Diggly Dong

Funny words I sing when I am dancing

Bing Bang Diggly Dong

Silly words that can mean anything

Get on up it's time to dance yeah

It's so much fun being up on our feet

So we go up up

To the top

Move around and clap your hands together

Down down turn around

Having fun is what it's all about

Oh 1, 2 me and you

Move around and clap your hands together

3, 4 on the floor

Having fun is what it's all about
