A Quirky Korean Romantic Comedy Series

Lie to Me also known as Sweet Scandal is a 16 episode 2011 South Korean romantic comedy drama series broadcast by SBS Network, written by Kim Ye Ri and directed by Kim Soo Ryung and Kwon Hyuk Chan. The series is a story of a girl named Gong Ah-Jjung/Andrea Gong (played by Yoon Eun Hye) who spread lies that she had married Hyun Ki-Joon/Kenneth Hyun (played by Kang Ji-Hwan), as the Chief Executive Officer of World Hotel. Because of the lies she has told her friends and family, she felt very miserable as the lies keep on and on. Now they are developing a deep feelings for each other as they try to live on the lies they had told and the coming of Hyun Ki-Joon's ex-fiancee.

Lie To Me: Summary - Beware for some spoilers and brief background story of the drama.

Gong Ah Jung, a level 5 Ministry of Culture official, gets entangled in a web of lies when she mistakenly lies that she's married to Hyun Ki Joon, a hotel manager from an affluent family. Their relationship is further complicated when Ki Joon's ex-fiancée and a close friend of his brother's, Oh Yoon Joo, reappears in his life.

Yoon Eun Hye who plays the female lead character Gong Ah Jung/Angela Gong is a South Korean actress, singer, entertainer and model. She debuted as a member of girl group Baby V.O.X, staying with the group from 1999 to 2005. Yoon has since moved on to acting, including a role in Princess Hours, as well as The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince.

Kang Ji-Hwan who plays the male lead character Hyun Ki Joon/Kenneth Hyun is a South Korean actor. He made his debut in the entertainment industry through popular musical productions The Rocky Horror Show and Grease. Then he played small roles in popular Korean TV Dramas such as Summer Scent (KBS2, 2003), Nonstop 4 (MBC,2003), Youth! Fly To The Sky (KBS2, 2004), More Beautiful Than A Flower (KBS2) and Save the Last Dance for Me (SBS,2004), he is recently in a Korean drama called Bride of the Sun, as Choi Jin Hyuk.

Sung Joon who plays the younger brother of Kenneth Hyun Hyun Sang-hee/Ethan Hyun is a South Korean model-turned-actor best known for his leading role as Kwon Ji-hyuk in the tvN series Shut Up Flower Boy Band. He also starred in numerous Korean dramas and films like Dangerously Excited, Love is a Crazy Thing, Pluto, The Relation of Face, Mind and Love, Personal Taste, White Christmas, Lie to Me, Shut up Flower Boy Band, Swamp Ecology Report.

Jo Yoon-hee who plays the Ki-Joon's Ex Fiancé Oh Yoon-Joo/Yvonne Oh is a South Korean actress and model. She is perhaps best known outside of Korea for playing the granddaughter in Taegukgi. He starred in numerous South Korean dramas and television like Love Letter, The Last Supper, Snow White aka Taste Sweet Love, Taegukgi, Love Can't Wait, Happy Together, Spotlight, 4th Period Mystery, Hot Blood, Golden Fish.

Hong Soo-Hyun who plays the Ah-Jung's friend Yoo So-Ran/Francine Yoo is a South Korean actress being worked on Dae Jo Yeong as Suk-yeong, Dae Jo Yeong's wife and also the princess of Goguryeo who later becomes the empress of Balhae. There, she became good friend with Park Ye-Jin who works as Dae Joyeong's first lover and Li Jiegu (Lee Haego or Yi Hae-go in Korean)'s wife. She also worked with TVXQ in two of their Banjun Theater dramas, Banjun Theater & Finding Lost Time.

Park Ji-yoon who plays the Ki-joon's friend and manager of the hotel Manager Park Ji-yoon/Trisha Park is a Korean pop singer, actress, and model, who debuted as a Haitai model at age 13. Park Ji Yoon is well known in Korea and abroad for her acting, singing and modelling skills. She has a B.F.A. from Namseoul University in Environmental Art & Design. Her voice has a very pure quality to it which has won her many fans.

      i love this kdrama..i hope the relationship between angela and kenneth will last not only in this segment but also in reality.
